Develop Your Skills at the STEAM Academy
The NJCU/Kean Jersey City STEAM Academy is an intensive, admission-based 5-week program that welcomes high-achieving middle and high school students for an immersive on-campus experience in the STEAM fields. High school students have the option to earn college credit for select general education courses in the University's Undergraduate Academic Catalogue.
Through hands-on labs, innovative projects and pre-college-level coursework, students grow their capabilities in biology, chemistry, physics, AI and machine learning, calculus, computer science and more while forming friendships that can last a lifetime. Generous support from partners like Bloomberg Philanthropies, Healthier JC, and Novartis Pharmaceuticals helps make this enrichment opportunity possible at an affordable rate for families and students.
